Hi Ho It's off to Round Top I Go

Well, I'm off to Round Top to go Antiquing, but first I thought I would show you what I made for my shopping cart.

20% chance of Rain

This was my first sewing project ever! Over half way threw, I broke the needle to the sewing machine, and had to liquid stitch the rest.
My biggest fear is that the rain will dissolve the glue, and I will leave a trail of fabric and ribbon behind me.

Morgan McKenzie Designs

Well the booth is starting to come together, I am open a little earlier than planned because Homestead on Blanco Rd. is having an Easter event this weekend. I am donating a few items for the giveaway, so if you are in the area, stop by for a chance to win. I am also planning a GRAND OPENING giveaway next week for the Morgan McKenzie Designs website.

A lot has happened in the past few weeks. Morgan McKenzie Designs has evolved from the idea of an online store, to an actual booth in a local craft and antiques mall. As the “store” has evolved, I think my own tastes and style has become more defined also. I would always have described myself as being “eclectic.” But part of my problem with decorating my own home has always been liking too many different things and then trying to make them work together. So, I had to stop and step back and decided what look did I want to start out with.
My conclusion, Vintage French Garden.
