Well, I went off the deep end and chose a color for the Formal living room. I ended up choosing a Chocolate Brown color (SW Fudge Bar) it is very dark and at night almost looks black.
The curtains belonged to our old bedding, I still love the pattern, but are a little too short. I am trying to decided on what to do about curtains, I could either add a contrasting fabric to the existing curtains, or make new ones. I found a toile at Hobby Lobby that would tie in the gold of the sofa and the brown of the walls, or...
I could just go in a total different direction and use blues and browns.

Ooohhh, I love the second fabric. I love the toile too. I'm horrible when it comes to fabric. I consider it more permanent than furniture and I don't know why. I need to get over it!
I love what you've done. Maybe when you pick the fabric you could also have some pillows made for the couch. Keep posting pics, I need inspiration!

I LOVE that paint color...it looks like you are headed in the right direction. I just finished a room for a client in the browns and reds and I love it...I think it is more flexible than the browns and blue. Good luck, can't wait to see more!

The walls are stunning! This is the color I am trying to bring into our bedroom! Toile is my favorite fabric, so naturally I would pick that one, but I also love blue mixed with the brown.

It is lovely and I can't wait to see what you decide to do.

ooooooh!! It looks so good! I love that color. We have a similar color in our dining room. I love it! All those fabrics are great but that light blue toile would look amazing against those walls!

Well I have to give my two cents, LOL, I would go with the toile, I think it will pick up the brick wall and bring everything together. Beautiful color by the way (;
